About KGTC
Kansas Association for Gifted, Talented and Creative is a not-for-profit advocacy group in the state of Kansas dedicated to promoting identified gifted and other high achieving students. KGTC is officially affliated with the National Association for Gifted Children. KGTC has been designated as a 501(c)(3) by the Internal Revenue Service and are registered with the Kansas Secretary of State as a not-for-profit organization.
Our membership consists of gifted facilitators, general educators, district and building administrators, other special educators, parents, and students.
We offer a variety of student opportunities including the Legislative Day, the Nicholas Green Scholarship, and Space Camp at the Cosmosphere. For parents, we offer periodic workshops to help them better understand the unique characteristics of their gifted/high achieving students. For educators, we professional development as well as a variety of resources.
